I would like to make a toast! Cheers to all:
- Who makes the effort everyday to look their best
- Who wakes up and drag themselves to work because they have work
- Who makes the effort to say good morning to everyone regardless of status
- Who are breastfeeding mothers
- Who serve their masters well (maids, yayas, drivers, employees, kids, entrepreneurs)
- Who does excellent work regardless of the meager salary
- Artists, musicians, eccentrics, weirdos as they make this world more interesting than ever
- Fathers who work hard to provide for their families
- Grandparents who take care of their grandchildren without accepting anything in return
- Brave entrepreneurs who take on all the risks, and sustain a lot of families under their wings
- Medical staff who takes care of us when we are at our most vulnerable
- Traffic enforcers who inhales polluted metro air to add a little order in our chaotic streets
- Taho, fruit, and vegetable vendors for bringing the market at our doorsteps
- Who puts the effort in maintaining their ideal weight
- Who wakes up early to prepare breakfast for their loved ones
- Plants for giving us free breathable air
- Software Engineers for maintaining online banks so we need not deal with long lines
- Valet drivers in making going to the mall on the weekend enjoyable again
- Foreigners who call this country their home
- of US! for an even brighter, productive, exciting, smashing, adventure-filled, grand year ahead of us.
